Add one per heater that sits more than 6m from your socket. Plugs straight into the heater's own lead, no rewiring.
Installation is priced by your pergola size and delivery zone, using our published rate card. Zone 1 covers the Greater Manchester area; further out is Zone 2, and over 60 miles is a bespoke quote. There is £0.00 to pay today to reserve it.

Installation is carried out by our trusted partner, Syndicate Design and Build (based in Stockport). The Fifth Room Limited supplies your pergola and secures your booking; Syndicate handle scheduling, site queries and aftercare, and installation fees are paid directly to them.
Prices show Zone 1 / Zone 2 and include travel and fuel. Each pergola is fully assembled by a team of two to three specialists.
A veranda is a larger, more involved build than a pergola, so it is priced separately. The same zones, fixing fees and requirements apply.
Added on top of the installation price when you want the structure permanently anchored. The same fees apply to pergolas and verandas, and depend on your surface (see requirements 3 to 5).
A £250 deposit is paid directly to Syndicate Design and Build one week before your scheduled installation. Payment details are shared with you when you book.
Full galvanised steel louvred frame, crank-operated roof, integrated drainage, all fixings, 2-year structural warranty.
You need a tape measure and a helper. Measure in metres.
Width: left to right across the area you want covered (the first number, e.g. 4.0m in 4.0m × 3.0m).
Depth: from the back edge out to the front (the second number).
Leave 5cm to 10cm clearance each side, and check for gutters, soffits or cables overhead. You need a solid, level base (concrete, paving or decking).

Fixed Louvre Panels: each one covers 1 metre of a side. Buy one per metre, edge to edge, or just one or two for partial cover.

Fixed Louvre Panel (1m): fixed horizontal slats in a powder-coated aluminium and steel frame. Lets light and air through while adding privacy and shelter. Modular, so add as many as you need.
Privacy Screen (2.4m / 3m / 4m): a soft mesh in a matching frame that filters sun and softens breezes. One full-width screen per side.
All finished in matching Anthracite Grey, so panels and screens match your pergola.
All three are infrared, so they warm people and surfaces directly rather than heating the air. You feel them the moment you switch on, and a breeze does not carry the heat away. The differences are coverage and control.
All three are rated for outdoor use, carry a 1 year warranty, and come with a 6m lead and a standard plug.
One 2kW heater comfortably covers 12m², and a 3000W covers 15m². Against your pergola sizes:
These are comfort guides, not hard limits. A sheltered corner needs less, and an open, windy garden needs more. Heaters mount between the louvres or on the end beam, and spreading two across a long pergola feels better than one working hard in the middle.
A word on power. A 3000W heater draws around 12.5A, which is close to everything a standard 13A socket can give. Two of them will not run from one socket. If you are adding more than one heater, or running heaters alongside lighting, talk to your electrician about the supply first.

Each heater fixes to the pergola frame on a bracket, either between the louvres or on the end beam. It does not stop the roof opening and closing, and it works on sides that already have screens or panels.
Brackets and fixings are included. If you add installation at the next step, our team fit the heaters and wire them into the control box for you.
Prefer not to fix anything to the frame? Our freestanding pedestal heaters stand on the patio and roll away when you are done. You will find them in the Outdoor Heating collection.
Every heater here comes with a 6m lead, supplied in two parts and joined by a weatherproof male/female connector. That connector is genuinely useful: it lets you feed the cable through a small gap, around a beam, or behind a screen without threading a moulded plug through first.
Before you order, measure it. Run a tape from where the heater will sit on the frame, down the post, and across to your nearest outdoor socket. The cable follows the pergola, so it is usually a good deal longer than the straight-line distance you have in your head.
Under 6m: you are fine as supplied.
Over 6m: add the 5m Heater Extension Lead above. It takes the reach to 11m and fits all three heaters, using the same weatherproof connector, so it plugs straight in with no rewiring. Add one per heater that needs it.

Mark Robertson, the company surveyor, was professional and reassuring during his initial visit. The team worked efficiently and professionally, staying late to finish before Good Friday so the plastering could be completed promptly. They cleaned up thoroughly after each stage, and the finished ceiling looked great. All rubbish was removed quickly, and the site was left spotless. The plasterer worked like a trojan and did a wonderful job. I'm very happy with the result and highly recommend Cheshire Bespoke Conservatories for roof upgrades.

Great experience from first contact to after completion. Explanation and examples of the recommended change from old polycarbonate roof to the new insulated conservatory roof was detailed and considered.
On arrival the team worked brilliantly together to remove the old roof, install the huge steel box gutter and build, board and make the roof watertight on the first day.
Tiled, insulated and plastered on day 2. Such a well oiled machine.
Amazing job inside and outside which has completely transformed our cold, condensation filled, leaky conservatory.

Can’t recommend CBC enough. I’d seen they do great work as they converted my brother’s conservatory last year.
March this year I engaged them to do the same for me. From day one, I was really pleased with the level of professionalism from the guys and nothing was too much trouble for them. I got clearly explained paperwork and quotes, which was a pleasant surprise considering some tradesmen actively avoid this kind of thing!
They turned up and did the job when they said they would, and despite me not believing they could do the job in 3 days, the team completed to an exceptionally high standard. It’s been 3 months and I’ve felt an immediate difference in being able to use the room every day. There have been no issues at all. We were wanting to replace the old standard glass roof on the conservatory for something that looked like it belonged there and provided the benefit of insulation, warmth and the same light.
